Crunches, crunches and MORE crunches!

Strong ab muscles are key to a runner’s stability and balance, and while sit ups might seem tiresome and boring, the 6 variations of crunches below will keep things interesting and build your core.

If this seems like it would be too easy, I recommend going through the cycle 2 times, at 10 reps apiece.
